| See the World thru my eyes' - chart breakdown of the week | ||||
| I'm highlighting Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) today ... reason? 1) It's a stock that trades around $50 (currently $53.28) and many want me to highlight stocks that are a bit cheaper 2) It's recent earnings showed the world its business is strong 3) It's pulled back from its earnings rally to levels that look appealing for me 4) AmericanBull has it as a SELL <- yes, a SELL short term 5) Yahoo Prem has them OverValued but most Analyst Recommendation have it a BUY ... Nvidia (NVDA) blows out earnings confirming this business is booming. Even Intel (INTC) has good earnings ... and its not because of the very FAD Bitcoin ... so looking at the chart we see a couple things for both buying and staying in cash ... another thing that I like is the Market Cap ... where INTC and NVDA have MC's well above $150 Billion ... AMD is about 1/2 that ... so the question is > has the rally stalled so much that this is support going forward? Is there room to expand and grow the market cap? Last 4 earnings reports we get a Beat, Met, Met, Beat ... clearly AMD isn't a dog ... read below my thoughts on the various chart indicators because one of them really jumps out at me as a HUGE RED FLAG. | ||||

| What's the RSI telling me? | ||||
| RSI - 50/60 represents a stock that is for the most part fairly valued with some value to the Up side | ||||
| CPT - Still have a Bullish trend with this being OVER 50 RSI and with the recent pull back it might - thing to note on the chart below is every time its played in the 50/Higher RSI is seems to rally off that. | ||||
| Support Lines | ||||
| SMA - When looking for a 'Low Entry' purchase we would love to BUY near the 100 day or 200 day support line. It's not 100% but its a 'Buy Low' situation vs 'Buying High' | ||||
| CPT - RED FLAG for me ... the stock has had a serious snap UP and with the 100 SMA at $41x and the 200 SMA being $36x ... if/should the markets peel back AMD will seriously pull back ... this for me is a wait and see. | ||||
| Resistance Line (What Wall Street considers its Top of the Chart near term movement) | ||||
CPT - because were not trading higher this is not testing resistance lines ... so this indicator is not a factor in my decision whether I make a purchase in AMD right now. I would click the link to see where it is trading just for reference :)

| Keltner Channel Breakdown | ||||
| KC - The stock is trading AT the KC MID line which presents more FAIR VALUE trade / purchase and now is the time for me to start watching the stock. I like buying for value UNDER the MID line. | ||||
| CPT - AMD has fallen to the MID KC so its in my range for a 'low entry' purchase but the above 100/200 SMA's worry me | ||||
| On Balance Volume or buying momentum ... is it trending Up? | ||||
| OBV - The 'On Balance Volume' trend line is UP which tells technical traders that the stock has good momentum or in straight talk, people are BUYING IT. This is a 'Green' check mark for me. | ||||
| CPT - AMD's OBV line has been trending higher and wouldn't surprise me if this continues ... AMD's business is good as recent earnings and past 4 have proven solid. | ||||
